Gym Alternative: Yoga
Our private classes allow you to avoid the intimidating gym atmosphere, where classes are overcrowded and often not taught at the level you need. Instead, Beth caters to your fitness experience, and adapts her yoga lessons to any health concerns.
“Beth teaches a group of harried mothers in our neighbourhood. She comes to my home (which is so much easier for me), and is super flexible about doing yoga, despite my pushy dog and cat, as well as any assortment of random children who happen to be milling about. Since we (the moms) have so little free time, this hour-long yoga class is often the only respite in our hectic and demanding lives. We also love the lavender massage at the end!"

Recently I was suffering from sciatica pain as a result of some home decoration, as a yoga instructor, I should be able to "heal myself". This wasn't the case, I was doubled up in pain, until I met up with Beth. Within 3-4 hands-on instructions and encouragement to go deeper into the poses, the pain was relieved. Even Yogi's need Yogi's. Thank you Beth.
As a organizer on a Meet Up site, I'm always looking for new and exciting events for my members. Along comes Beth and introduces us to Yoga on Horseback. I was apprehensive at first, but Beth's detailed pose instructions, focus on safety and becoming connected to our horse made the event a success. Beth is now a regular contributor to our events schedule at Stride and Stretch. Happy to have you as part of our group!
